Living Dangerously, Redux

I had a few more photos of the brushes with death escapades of my son (and my husband…)

In New Orleans…

And the answer to, “Gee, where’d he get that?” came in Florida at Fort Pickens National Park. (Sidenote: This park is AWESOME in that it lets you stomp around on an old WWI fort…lots of danger, few railings, precarious perches and lots of time to imagine what it was like for the troops stationed here in 1918)

Life lesson: Boys and guns… the weapons gene, I believe is carried on the Y Chromosone. Don’t try to change it, just make sure the gun (or, in this case, the cannon) isn’t loaded.

Needless to say, we survived the cannons of New Orleans and Fort Pickens to brave the beaches of Puerto Rico.
